Kodi is a celebrity. @ 8:07 PM

I'm a horribly obnoxious person.
I've a horribly obnoxious cat.

Today he was featured on pawesome.net!

It features a fascinating biography about how he got his start in life. I'm a bit proud of him. He also has a facebook.

In addition to that, I placed an order for six 1lb cones of 8/2 Tencel today! In Natural, courtesy of
WEBS. Isn't that exciting? You bet it is.

The sample above looks ridiculous-- poor quality iPad2 picture aside. It is a mix of three colors in four bands, just plain weave. I'm going to use it to test general dye concentrations before the tencel arrives. I'm no dye pro and I want to get as much shibori testing done before the semester's pace really picks up-- nothing worse than being in the art building for 18 hours straight at the end of December with deadlines looming.

lol, looming.

I'm afraid of biting off more than I can chew & choking to death.

BUT CHECK OUT THAT HEM. CHECK.IT.OUT. A week ago I couldn't sew in a straight line, but LOOK AT ME NOW, FOLKS. Look at me now. We'll ignore the horrible wonky selvedges for the time being, ok? Thanks you're sweet.

About
i find myself amusing

Hello there! I'm Kelsey Keefe. I am twenty-two years old and think the internet is fan-freaking-tastic. I went to school for Art (Art History & Fibers/Weaving), but if there were a degree in "looking at and critiquing cat pictures" I'd be all over that. Doctor Professor Kelsey Keefe, head of Internet Studies. That'd be me. But alas, we live in reality where I read about two hundred different blogs and have a deeply rooted affection for Mormon Mom Blogs. Oh, and I weave. I have a cat, he has his own facebook.
